One day, we will dance in celebration. Until then, we dance for a cure.
Getting involved in THON was one of the best decisions I have made at Penn State. As a freshman, I joined the FOTO special interest organization, which represents 3 amazing families, the Knapers, Eslingers, and Tramels. When I joined this incredible organization, I was unaware of how special THON was in helping these children through their fight. However, after THON weekend 2018, I knew that this was something I would be honored to have a role in with this wonderful group of people. Last year, our organization raised over $113,000 for the kids! I invite you to generously help us to surpass this total to prevent any child from fighting alone.
Penn State THON is a 46 hour dance marathon, designed to raise funds for children diagnosed with pediatric cancer. THON has over 16,000 student volunteers that help raise money for over 4,000 families at Penn State Children's Hospital. Since its beginning in 1977, THON has raised over $157 million dollar in the ongoing fight against pediatric cancer. By supporting THON's effort, you personally join the fight in creating a better tomorrow for these special children. Thank you for any donation!!!
