Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.
As I entered my freshman year at Penn State, I had no idea what was in store for me. I stumbled into the involvement fair not knowing what clubs or organizations I wanted to join. I attended multiple meetings for several different clubs attempting to find where I belonged. Finally, I found FOTO. For those who don't know, FOTO is a THON organization that raises money for children fighting pediatric cancer. I have spent the last four years dedicated to this cause, and every day I wake up eager to continue the fight for these children.
Our organization is currently paired with three families, the Eslingers, the Knapers, and the Tramels. These are all families that have fought or are still fighting everyday to beat pediatric cancer. This year I have had the honor and the privilege of being the Family Relations Chair for our organization. This has given me the opportunity to gain first hand experience with our families to see what they go through on a daily basis.
I ask that you please consider donating to this cause to help these families along with hundreds of others that are currently going through cancer treatment. These donations help to pay for medical bills, wigs, chemotherapy, and scientific research to find a cure.
