Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.
Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THON. This year, I am taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February. Since 1977, THON has raised over $157 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and funding critical research to take our fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world.
I have been involved in THON throughout my time as a student, and this organization has absolutely changed my life. As a THON Volunteer, I have had the opportunity to be a Dancer Relations Committee Member, Alumni Engagement Captain, and Alumni Engagement Director. Now, I am culminating my student efforts by serving as the Executive Director for THON 2019. I am grateful to have the opportunity to lead this organization, and I want to dedicate my efforts so that every child can live out their dreams.
I am inspired by the community that THON creates, and we have the ability to come together and make monumental strides toward a cure. We need every student, alumni, supporter, and partner in order to make a difference toward every child and family affected by this disease across the globe. THON has allowed me to grow as an individual and leader where I am able to give back, and I am determined to fight until the day that we are dancing in celebration.
I truly appreciate any support you provide, either by making a donation or by sharing my page on social media to spread THON’s mission.
