MAKE A DONATION

Make a difference in the life of a child today

Help save the lives of children battling cancer by supporting THON. American Society of Civil Engineers ASCE is taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers to raise funds and awareness in the fight against childhood cancer. Since 1977, THON has raised over $204 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children's Hospital. Throughout our partnership, we have ensured that over 4,800 families have not seen a single medical bill. In addition, the local research that is being done is making a global impact so that one day, we will find a cure. Each February, THON's yearlong efforts and support for the families culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon. By supporting THON, you will be joining a community committed to conquering childhood cancer.

We, as the American Society of Civil Engineers ASCE, are commited to making the world a better place, whether it be through our engineering professions or by making a difference in the lives of others outside of work. Penn State's ASCE chapter has particpated in THON for over 3 years now and has raised a cumulative total of over $40,000! Just last year, ASCE raised almost $15,000 For The Kids and we plan to make an even greater impact this year. We would love for you to be a part of our journey, so keep watch on our page to see exciting new events and fundraising activites in the future!

Help us reach our goal of $5000 this semester to pie select professors in the Civil Engineering department! So far we have Nat Warner, Lauren McPhillips, and Aleksandra Radlinska pied, with Fred Cannon next, so donate today!
