Zach Freedman and Matt Ramjit

Join us on February 15, 2019

Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.

Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THONTM. Together, Zach Freedman and Matt Ramjit, are taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.
Since 1977, THON has raised over $157 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and funding critical research to take this fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. We work year-round to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone.

Hey my name is Zach Freedman! I have been involved in THON at Penn State through my fraternity, Phi Kappa Theta, and am currently the Greek Organization Liaison for THON 2019. I was the Family Relations chairman for my fraternity for THON 2017, and was the overall THON chairman for THON 2018.  I THON for more smiles, more birthdays, and so kids can be kids again. Childhood is truly a blessing and no child should have that taken away from them. Please consider donating to help me stand with our families for 46 hours.

Hey my name is Matt Ramjit! For the past three years I have been very much involved in THON with my fraternity, Phi Kappa Theta. I view THON as a special experience for not only the students participating in this philanthropy event, but for the families and kids too. Every year, we make our Four Diamonds families get to feel like they're on top of the world, and allow them to be kids again. To truly support, provide my best effort, and make a lasting impact, please donate and help me fulfill my goal of standing 46 hours for these amazing families.

If you would like to learn more about our fraternities' family, The Arevalo's, and their story with our THON child Ryan, please check out their facebook page.

We THON so that no family has to hear the words "Your child has cancer" again.

Zach Freedman and Matt Ramjit have been working tirelessly all year with the hopes of being selected to dance in THON 2019. Independent Dancer Couples are dedicated individuals who set up their own fundraisers throughout the year, and with the support of friends and family, will obtain tickets in a lottery system in the hopes of earning a spot as dancers in the Penn State Dance Marathon. With your contribution, you will bring Zach Freedman and Matt Ramjit one step closer to being able to take a stand against childhood cancer during THON Weekend 2019.
