Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.

Cara & Jon

We met in a whirlwind of excitement in front of Old Main on April 4, 2017 when we were lucky enough to be selected as a part of the Executive Committee for THON 2018. Little did we know that over the course of that year working together as the Dancer Relations Director and Entertainment Director that we would actively drive each other nuts, as well as become best friends. As we both conclude our time here at Penn State we thought that there would be no better way to spend our final THON as Students than attempting to Independently Dance. We are excited to continue our involvement in THON by fundraising in the fight against childhood cancer. Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THONTM today!

I got involved with THON as soon as possible my Freshman year. My Freshman and Sophomore years I was a Dancer Relations Committee Member. Following that, I was a Dancer Relations Captain my Junior year and the Dancer Relations Director this past year. I have loved working with the Dancers these past four years and I am now excited to try to be one! By donating you are not only helping us achieve our dream to Dance, but more importantly are making an impact in the life of a child.

have been lucky enough to serve the past four years as a member of the Entertainment Committee. My freshman year I was a Production Committee Member, my Sophomore and Junior years on the Entertainment Captain Committee and last year I served as the Entertainment Director. I enjoyed every single aspect of these positons and especially loved being able to help create the “magic” of THON for all of the Four Diamonds Families, Dancers, Supporters and Volunteers.

Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THONTM. Together, Cara Perrotti & Jon Ringenbach, are taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.
Since 1977, THON has raised over $157 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and funding critical research to take this fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. We work year-round to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone.

Cara Perrotti & Jon Ringenbach have been working tirelessly all year with the hopes of being selected to dance in THON 2019. Independent Dancer Couples are dedicated individuals who set up their own fundraisers throughout the year, and with the support of friends and family, will obtain tickets in a lottery system in the hopes of earning a spot as dancers in the Penn State Dance Marathon. With your contribution, you will bring Cara Perrotti & Jon Ringenbach one step closer to being able to take a stand against childhood cancer during THON Weekend 2019.
