Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.

Hi everyone and welcome to Hailey and Halle's donordrive page! We are both so excited to be able to start working towards trying to independently dance in THON 2019!

Both of us have been involved in THON for all 3 years of college but decided we wanted to try to dance independently for our senior year for more personal reasons. We have been best friends since middle school when we ran cross country and track together at Downingtown Middle School. During the fall of our freshman year of high school, our friend and one of our strongest teammates Cameron Evans was suddenly diagnosed with leukemia. Six months later he passed away. Our Downingtown community is a special one that has come together to raise money for pediatric cancer through Cameron's foundation Cure4Cam. Our high schools have their own Cam-a-thons, which are mini-thons, and our community has a 5k run every Thanksgiving where I am not exaggerating when I say the entire community shows up to support.

Now we want to represent Cam on an even larger scale. We would really appreciate if you took the time to donate and help us raise money towards our goal so that we are able to dance together for him, it would mean the world to us. Thank you everyone, and stay tuned for updates!

Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THONTM. Together, Hailey Barnhill & Halle Smith, are taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.
Since 1977, THON has raised over $157 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and funding critical research to take this fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. We work year-round to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone.

Hailey Barnhill & Halle Smith have been working tirelessly all year with the hopes of being selected to dance in THON 2019. Independent Dancer Couples are dedicated individuals who set up their own fundraisers throughout the year, and with the support of friends and family, will obtain tickets in a lottery system in the hopes of earning a spot as dancers in the Penn State Dance Marathon. With your contribution, you will bring Hailey Barnhill & Halle Smith one step closer to being able to take a stand against childhood cancer during THON Weekend 2019.
