Join us on February 15, 2019

Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.

Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THONTM. Our Organization, Club Sailing, is taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.
Since 1977, THON has raised over $157 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and funding critical research to take this fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. We work year-round to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone.

Organizations play a key role in helping THON fulfill its mission of conquering childhood cancer. Throughout the year, Organizations contribute to the efforts of thousands of Penn State students across all campuses by facilitating fundraisers and providing emotional support to Four Diamonds Families. Club Sailing works alongside these Organizations with the common goal of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.
Club Sailing is paired with the Mckenna Voss Family. Mckenna was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at age 7 and after over a year of treaments she is now cancer free. She endured a year of chemo, bone marrow transplants, viruses, and so much more that she took on with an extrodinary amount of courage. She is the reason we THON. She inspires us everyday and is a constant reminder of why we are working as hard as we can to raise money to help more children like her. You can follow Mckenna's story on her Facebook page Mission: Mckenna and with the hashtag #MckennasWarriors.
