Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.

Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THONTM. Our Organization, IST FTK, is taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.

IST For The Kids strives to bring the College of Information Sciences & Technology community together to support the Penn State Dance Marathon and the Four Diamonds Fund. Through close partnerships among students, alumni, faculty and staff in the College, IST FTK will "Inspire Hope" by providing emotional as well as financial support.
This year, the College of Information Sciences & Technology will culminate most of our fundraising efforts in support of our two Four Diamonds family, the Ross's as well as the Murphy's. In the Fall of 2011, after one year of existence, IST FTK was honored to be accepted into the Adopt-A-Family Organization. And, on November 13, 2011, we first met the David Murphy Family, and they quickly became a part of our own. Our second blessing came in the form of the Ross family - we are incredibly joyous to lend our hand to these two families and they truly are the reason for all of the work we put in during the year.

Here in the Happiest of Valleys, we're here to stand in support for all families. Every child deserves to grow up in a world of endless possibilities - let's fight for their childhood!
