THON Donor & Alumni Relations

Join us on February 15, 2019

Growing up is a beautiful thing. Let’s fight for it.

Our Mission

The Donor & Alumni Relations Committee creates and fosters relationships with THON’s growing donor base and educates the THON community about awareness campaigns and effective fundraising. Our goal is to further THON's mission by empowering donors, alumni and student volunteers to take action in the fight against childhood cancer.

Join us in our commitment to turn childhood dreams into reality by supporting THONTM. Our committee, Donor & Alumni Relations, is taking action by uniting with 16,500 student volunteers and over 25,000 alumni supporters in the fight against childhood cancer. Our year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to celebrate our survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and take a stand--all in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure.
Since 1977, THON has raised over $157 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and funding critical research to take this fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. We work year-round to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone.

THON Committees play a key role in helping THON fulfill its mission of conquering childhood cancer. As Committee Members, students plan for and attend THON events as part of a team dedicated to making THON a success year after year, Alumni Engagement plays an integral role in the continued success of THON.
